Living with an invisible chronic illness like Lyme and/or co-infections can be a very hard and often lonely journey. As a certified Cuddlist, Nellie Wilson offers therapeutic touch and support through listening and embodiment coaching. Nellie specializes in supporting people with disabilities and chronic illness. She is committed to helping people feel seen, heard, and cared for. Cuddlist sessions are based on clear communication and consent, tailored to meet your individual needs.
Perhaps you are feeling isolated and would like to have someone sit with you, hold your hand, and compassionately listen to you. Or maybe you would like to be held and have your hair stroked and feel nurtured. Whatever your needs and desires, sessions offer human connection, presence, and honor you as a whole person.
Nellie Wilson has a background in massage therapy, somatics, nonprofit administration, and has a master’s in Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching certification from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Nellie also works as a consent educator, teaching workshops and running events like Cuddle Party. Nellie is currently training to be a certified Wheel of Consent Facilitator. She has been living with chronic illness for over 10 years. Her personal experience with chronic illness and chronic pain informs her work and desire to support others.
Nellie is also the facilitator for the Northampton Area Women with Chronic Illness peer-led support groups, which meet the first Tuesday of the month, 6:00-7:30pm, at the Lilly Library in Florence, MA. And she facilitates the Lyme Disease Resource Center's 3rd Wednesdays support groups.
Nellie sees clients at her Easthampton office and can do home visits for people who are unable to travel due to illness within a 45 minute radius of Northampton.
