Meet the facilitator:

Grace Anderson, Volunteer Coordinator, Peer Counselor
Support Group Facilitator
I became chronically ill when I was twelve. One of the contributing factors was tick-borne illness. Thirteen years later, I have had a wide range of experiences with the medical field, with illness itself, and with the issues it can create in someone’s personal and social life. I volunteer because I know how rough all of it can be. I have firsthand experience with the struggles that arise from chronic illness, and if I can provide support for somebody going through something similar, it’s important to me that I take that opportunity.

Maria Malaguti
Support Group Facilitator
Founder/ Executive Director of the Lyme Disease Resource Center, Inc. With a certificate in mission driven organization management, and BA from Marlboro College Vt, Maria founded the LDRC as a way to educate and support those who are affected by tick borne illness, creating a peer guided cohort of volunteers, practitioners, patients and care partners that support and educate our community.
