Set in historical and modern-day Dublin, London and Paris, this is the story of three strangers who find themselves cast in the spell of a vanishing bookshop! What secrets are held on the shelves? It’s a captivating novel about discovering one’s own story and triumphing over life’s adversities. It also beautifully illustrates the enduring power of books and how they can transcend time and space. Full of references to famous literary writers, it’s a charming and heartwarming magical tale with many surprises!

The book also contains brief scenes of domestic violence and references to issues surrounding the historical oppression of women in society.

Linda has been a Volunteer with the Center since May 2024. She lives in the Albany, NY area and has been battling Lyme disease for over nine years. She’s an avid reader and loves to share her books with others.
The Lost Bookshop is available on Amazon and in your local libraries. The Audio version is also available on Amazon.

Please bring your lunch and join fellow book lovers for a casual Book Chat. We’d love your company even if you haven’t yet read the book. You may just meet some new friends!

If you have suggestions for other books you’d like to discuss at future Book Chats, please let us know when you register.
